After a delay in episodes, we start a new series this week on the names of God. This episode, we look at Jehovah-Jireh, or “The Lord will provide”. Throughout the series, we want to explore how it’s possible to take His name in vain. In other words, are there times when we don’t trust God to provide?

Jehovah-Jireh is a place not the name of the only true god Jehovah. This reminds me of a scripture Matthew 6:9 “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.”
